One Christmas morning Blue-Bell laid down in the snow making snow angels & dreaming of dancing bears she saw at the circus.  Suddenly Boris a white dancing bear came out of the forest.  Her beautiful dreams came true, they danced all night under the stars, and all the way home.

I have been sewing for years.  I have always wanted to make dolls.  Now that I'm retired I have time to work at doll making.  I am definitely in the beginner category.  I made bear and Santa too.  Santa's head is my own design out of paper mache.

This is Ivy Noel with her Christmas Doll, Holly and a Christmas stocking filled with all kinds of surprises! She is dressed in a jumper made from black velvet and plaid taffeta. She wears an airy and dreamy dress, and is ready to celebrate hannukah- the festive of light, victory of light over the darkness. She is surrounded by her little friends- waldorf dolls her grandmother gave her for Hannukah. on every day of the holiday she got another doll. now is the sixth day- the sixth candle, and she can't wait for tomorrow- to get the seventh, so she could play snow white. By the end of hannukah she will have plenty! She especially loves the little babies in the nut shells. She wishes you all a happy holiday!

"Cuca no Natal"
(means Cuca in Christmas, Cuca is a nick name)

"Christmas Treasures" In a big family like mine, Christmas is a wonderful celebration. In my home, I receive my nine sons, eight sons and daugthers-in-law and my 24 grand sons. This Christmas, one more is coming!!! The oldest grand sons represent every year a theater play related to Jesus birth. In 2005, the theme was "Where will Jesus born?" In this play the Angel Gabriel sends a few angels with the mission of finding a good place to the birth. But they all return with bad news: some places are too hot, some places are too cold, in some others people are not interested...In the mean time, a special Angel writes down all these happenings. When all the angels return without success, Gabriel decides that the Jesus will born in a stable with only a few animals to warm Him up. All the angels become very sad and they start crying until they lay down to rest. Suddenly, with big surprise from every one, Mary and Joseph appear carrying the Child. All become vey happy!!! The saviour is with them and they can sing now "Gloria in Excelsis Deo"!!!

This little Bleuette is named Soleil.  She has a stuffed kitten named Randall.  He is one of her favorite things and a good friend as well!  They have just returned from Christmas Eve dinner at Grandma's house.  Soleil was thrilled to get to wear her new gold silk organza party dress for the occasion.  Soon, she will dress for bed, but right now she is taking a few minutes to put some gingerbread cookies out for Santa, on the table next to the season's cards.  She can't wait for morning, and the surprises that await!
